I'm in Palm Springs, Cali! After taking a JetBlue flight (which I will tell you about later) to LAX, I am hyped AF to explore The Bell Hotel.
Let's start with the room. The room is very Taco Bell themed, with a hot sauce packet as the pillow and a Taco bell wallpaper. Very unique, but take away the Taco bell theme, it would be a midrange hotel room. Then the food: Free Mountain Dew Baja Blast (which is amazing!) and breakfast tacos! Perfect! Tastes as good as the stuff found in the ACTUAL Taco bell restaurants. Lastly, the pool: there are dive-in movies and the pool is perfect temperature. See you tomorrow for an epic food tour in LA!

I'm in Hershey, Pennslyvania! I am visiting the chocolate world today.
To make a candy bar, it costs $27 USD per person. To start you can make a base of white, milk or dark chocolate. I chose white chocolate since I enjoy white chocolate. To add toppings, I added butterscotch chips, crisp rice and butter toffee crunch. Then I saw it being made. It was crazy and I was going mad. Then I designed my own wrapper, I wrote "Hershey candy, g's!" and added a pic of a tiger. It was SO GOOD! Yesterday was the worst, today is the best (in Economy class). Please note that I haven't been on a few of them like Qatar Airways and SQ, but I have been on some of them.
No. 10 - Thai Airways Thai Airways might be a bit unknown, but the service is really nice and the food isn't even that bad. About 1 year ago, I flew on their A350-900 and it was pretty good. No. 9 - Lufthansa Lufthansa is luxurious but a bit cheaper than what you'd expect from Emirates or Qatar. THis airline based in Munich is getting this award for its amazing service. No. 8 - Qantas This Aussie airline is really nice because it is safe, reasonably priced and comfortable. Did you know it's Emirate's partner in crime? No. 7 - Cathay Pacific When I flew my first long-haul route with them on their new A350-1000, I was really nervous. But it was one of my favorite journeys in the sky, but their food isn't that great other than special diet meals (which I usually order the Hindu Non-veg one; not because I am Hindu because it tastes nicer) No. 6 - JAL / ANA With ANA's new "The Room" business class, this is a really top-notch product. And in JAL's coach class, it is very comfortable indeed. No. 5 - jetBlue jetBlue is one of the best domestic airlines I know. It has TV, the legroom is reasonable, and you get FREE snacks, unlike SOME domestic US airlines (United and American, I'm looking at you both) No. 4 - Etihad/Emirates Emirates and Etihad, the king and queen of Middle Eastern carriers. The food is great, the service is excellent and the legroom is above average. No. 3 - Air New Zealand Their flights are amazing. The food is excellent, the legroom is somewhat similar to a Premium Economy seat and the entertainment options are unlimited. No. 2 - Qatar Airways Great food, wine, product and service. This is the king of all carriers in the world. Thier new-and-improved business class "Qsuites" is phenomenal. No. 1 - Singapore Airlines The service is equal in all classes (great), their food is top-notch even in coach, and the entertainment options are amazing. For this list, I have written down the worst airlines in ECONOMY class. Some for example, Air Koryo, I have never been on. But some, China Eastern Airlines, I have been on and had the worst time in the sky.
* - I haven't been on at all or in 4+ years No. 10 - British Airways* This USED to be an excellent airline 10 years ago. But then it started to suck. The food is sh*t quality, the service is awful and the legroom is ludicrous. Premium economy just sucks as much as regular coach and business class (aka Club World) is a JOKE. No. 9 - Iberia Oh, Iberia. Fun fact: This is BA's partner-in-crime. Actually, the inflight experience (the short-haul experiences, since the only route I ever fly with Iberia is their route to Tenerife) isn't half-bad. But the amount of delays I have experience with them where I missed my connection to Tenerife is just ludicrous. First time in 2016, I was flying with KLM to Madrid from Shanghai and my flight from Amsterdam to Madrid was delayed for 2+ hours, and my mom got so damn pissed off. We had to stay OVERNIGHT in Madrid then take the next day flight to Tenerife. Second time in 2019 when our flight to Madrid from Tenerife got delayed by 9 WHOLE hours. Then we missed our short connection to Hong Kong. They were going to put us on a Qatar Airways flight to Doha, but the we got our luggage missing. We had to (again) stay overnight and take the next day Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong. No. 8 - China Eastern Airlines Calling this an airline would be an insult to all airlines. I'm surprised it's in the SkyTeam Alliance! The food is horrid, the service is awful and the ANCIENT A320s they fly to EUROPE is just a joke. Plus, the retarded amount of delays I've had with China Eastern is ludicrous. Even worse, they don't allow you to use your phone or ANY electronic device during flight time. To add to that, they don't have TV's on ANY of their fleet. No. 7 - United NEIN!!!!! The airline of cruelty! Food is awful, service is a joke and the legroom is INSANE. Plus they kill dogs and break guitars to piss off passengers. Don't fly United. No. 6 - Ryanair* The airline that charges you to go to the TOILET! They charge for everything, turning your $110 HKD ticket into a $8000 HKD ticket. No. 5 - Spirit Airlines* Similar to Ryanair, but worse. No. 4 - Air India* What a joke. Food sucks, staff are rude and the cabin smells like stinky tofu. No. 3 - Pakistan International Airlines* Similar to Air India, but much worse. No. 2 - Air Koryo* It's from North Korea, what do you expect? Bad food, bad service, bad EVERYTHING! No. 1 - Spring Airlines The Spirit Airlines of Mainland China. This low-cost carrier is just misery to be on. No TV, No phone, No NOTHING! I'm in Serendipity 3! Home to soul food in NYC (other than Slyvia's, its rival) and the most expensive sundae.
Here's what I ordered: Hot spring wings Serendipity Chili Mac Country Meatloaf Chicken and waffles Cheese Ravioli Spaghetti and meatballs Quintessential Grilled Cheese Golden opulence sundae The (regular) food was amazing as well, but this is about the $200 USD grilled cheese and the sundae, kiddos. Both had a LOT of gold and luxurious features, such as a lobster bisque (grilled cheese) and more GOLD! The tasted PHENOMENAL. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime treat. See you tomorrow for my review of Katz's! Welcome to JFK Airport! Home to JetBlue's T5 and the biggest port of entry in the USA. Wait, I forgot something. What about the TWA hotel?
After taking the TWA themed lift to the hotel, I stumbled upon Jack Frye's old office with all the trimmings and souvenirs. I saw a long red tunnel to the hotel and I walked through the tunnel to see my hotel. They had everything that the old TWA terminal used to have. The old flight board was restored for new flights and the old check-in desks were for the check-in and for the FOOD COURT of the hotel. I was put in the room with the wing with a decent runway view. The room was OK, but packed with free snacks and drinks (Including liquor, which I am forbidden to drink since I am under the age of 21). But I stumbled across an old soft drink called Tab. It's like diet coke, but grosser. So far I am lovin' it! Then I decided to see Connie (she's not a person but a cocktail bar). As I mentioned earlier, I am not 21 y/o yet, so I got a Shirley Temple without the booze instead. The cocktail bar was the BEST part of it all. It was designed like a retro airplane, but refurbished into a cocktail bar. When I woke up that morning, I went to the humongous gym and the rooftop pool. The gym is the largest hotel gym in the world and the rooftop pool is STUNNING! I saw A380s, B747s, and more aircraft on this area. It was stunning. See you tomorrow for a review of Serendipty 3! Arriving at Haneda International Airport, I was extremely excited to be sitting in Emirates First Class product. After TSA and immigration, I went to the lounge. I will post my review of the HND Emirates lounge later this week.
When I boarded, I was given a glass of Dom Perignon. It's $200 USD per bottle, so I took slow sips of my bubbly. When I departed from Haneda, I felt lots of excitement for this upcoming trip to the USA. Time to take an Arabian date and drink some Arabian coffee! After we left, the meal service came. I was given a mezze for my starter, paneer tikka masala for my entree and a passionfruit tart for dessert. The mezze contained hummus, kofta and baba ghanoush. The dips were creamy and the kofta were tender. For my entree, the curry sauce was creamy and spicy and the paneer was marinated to perfection. The passionfruit tart was sweet and sour, yet the crust being flaky. After, I decided to take a nap (it's a 9-hour flight for crying out loud!) and watch some TV. Then my breakfast came. I had not one but TWO choices. I had paneer bhurji and sunny-side up eggs with veal bacon (The food on Emirates is halal, which means no pork and/or alcohol). The eggs were barely cooked (which is a good thing in my book) and the veal bacon was just as good as the ones from the pig. The paneer bhurji was creamy and the paneer was soft and tender. When we landed in Dubai, I was up for another journey. Speaking of which, the review to how to spend a half-decent layover in DXB is below. The lounge in DXB was phenomenal. Free luxurious foods like truffle and wagyu steaks and Beluga caviar were all featured. My flight on the A380 to New York JFK was similar, except for my shower on the ride to NYC. See you all tomorrow for a review of the TWA hotel! Most airports are boring. Take LaGuardia or Luton for example. But a handful, such as Singapore, Doha or JFK (with the TWA hotel), are some amazing airports.
